Update 42

'What the hell is that bastard planning now!' I muttered angrily as I made my way home.

I had left Pooja Didi and Karan behind, Karan fucking Didi's brains out. They were blissfully unaware of the situation, and I didn't want to interrupt them. I made an excuse, mentioning that Jhanvi wanted me back early, asking both of them to come over for breakfast at home, once they were finished.

On the way over, I got another call, this one from my father, asking me to come over immediately. Seemed like whatever Kishore was planning, he needed me there.

Luckily, Didi's house was just down the street and I reached home within minutes. Where I found Jhanvi looking nervous and worried as she stood at the door, wearing a salwaar kameez.

"Where is he?" I asked her, walking past her and into the living area.

"In the library," Jhanvi said, trailing behind me. "He got a call from Ravi early in the morning and went right away to talk to Babuji (father-in-law). Tara and Nora are in there with them."

"What the fuck is he playing at!" I growled angrily.

Jhanvi bit her lip and shook her head, "I had a chance to peek at the documents when he left them on the bed. They mentioned a Power of Attorney; that's all I could make out when I called you."

"Damn it! It must be Ravi's idea," I muttered, "That asshole must be behind this!"

"Yes, he is in there discussing it with Babuji right now. It seems he wants full power to take all executive decisions. He needs your and Tara's signatures to get the document registered and legal."

I frowned, "What? Why does he want power over the company? He's already the CEO."

"He's planning something, Suraj. I just know it. He has been acting weird since yesterday, when we had dinner..." Jhanvi said as we reached the library and paused outside to discuss our plan of action before entering. "He has already convinced Tara to sign off on it; she doesn't really know his real intentions, so she trusts him! I slipped out then, making an excuse to get them some tea. I knew I needed to meet you before you came in to tell you what is happening."

I nodded and thought about it for a moment. He probably hoped to corner me publicly into accepting this deal, that is why he wanted to get it done without letting me know beforehand. I knew I couldn't sign off on this, but I wasn't really sure how I would refuse if Dad insisted on it.

"We'll figure something out," I told Jhanvi, kissing her on the forehead and then turned around and entered the library.

Dad was sitting behind his large Mahogany desk, with Tara and Nora standing on his sides, talking to him. Kishore and our family advocate stood facing them, with Kishore holding some papers.

"Ah... My brother is here now. We can get this over with," Kishore spoke up, gesturing me towards the desk. His eyes had an excited gleam in them.

I ignored Kishore and walked over to my father, "What's going on Dad?"

My father smiled warmly, and waved me forward, "Nothing much son, we are just discussing the family business. You know, I've not been able to really get back on my feet after that heart attack, and it seems that the market is taking this news in a bad way. You saw the news report in the Times this week?"

"Yeah, I was just telling Dad that the market doesn't like uncertainty! I may be the CEO, but he is still the Chairman of the Board, and our family holds four seats on the board: Dad's, yours, Tara's, and mine. Tara and you haven't really participated on account of your studies, so Dad would handle those things as the Chairman. But with his health being not so well, the market may feel that we are too slow in taking major decisions. It's not good for the stock price," Kishore chimed in. "That's why I've suggested that I take over as the Chairman from Dad, and control the four proxy votes myself. I'll be able to represent everyone in tomorrow's board meeting, so Dad, and both of you, won't have to worry about it."

"It makes sense right, Suraj. Dad doesn't need the stress of work now. Kishore Bhaiya has been doing a great job as the CEO anyways, so it makes sense." Tara looked at me with a smile, as if this was so magnanimous of Kishore. She was still under the impression that our elder brother was actually looking out for us.

I suddenly realized what my brother was planning. The merger with the Oberoi Group would need approval from the Board, and with Dad being the Chairman, it would never happen. Dad would rather the company burn to the ground than merge with a cheat like Oberoi.

However, with the Power of Attorney giving four out of seven Board votes under his control, Kishore could pass any resolution that he desired. He would probably ram it through before anyone could stop him.

"I don't need to sign. I can join the meetings from now, Dad. I have rejoined the business anyway, haven't I?" I told them, glancing at Dad.

Dad looked thoughtful and turned to the Solicitor beside Kishore. "He is right, you know. He can attend the meetings from now and cast his own vote."

But Kishore was ready for this, "We need to show full determination and confidence to the market, Dad. Suraj is still green and new to the business affairs! He needs to be guided. It will not look good if we have a college drop-out attending the Board meetings. Let him learn the ropes for a year and then he can properly contribute."

"What do you think, Nora?" My dad looked at his wife, my stepmother, "Kishore has a point."

"Suraj may be young but he's more than capable. I'm sure Kishore is just looking out for his brother, but he can always attend the meetings and get guidance from Kishore. I don't think we need this Power of Attorney, for Suraj at least," Nora replied, her fingers pressing his shoulder.

I had to hide my smile as Kishore's lips curled into a scowl for a brief second before returning to a polite smile at Nora's response. I'm sure he was shocked inside at Nora's words. He still didn't know that she had already switched sides.

"Tea, everyone?" Jhanvi's voice broke the momentary silence, as she came in, carrying a silver tray with glasses of fresh tea and biscuits, and placed it in front of Dad, "Regular for everyone and Green tea for Babuji, just like the doctor ordered!"

"Thank you, Beta." My father smiled at Jhanvi affectionately while she passed around the tea. I took this moment of distraction to glance at Nora and gave her an almost imperceptible nod towards the teacup in Dad's hands.

"Now where were we? Ah yes... I agree with you, Nora. Suraj is coming along well. But as Kishore said, it is a matter of signalling the market. I think we should trust Kishore here." Dad turned to me, "Suraj, I think you should sign this. Just for the sake of formality and to show the market that we are confident about the future of the business in Kishore's hands."

I looked around at Kishore, Tara, and finally at my father. Both were nodding along with Dad's decision. I had no option but to comply, "Sure Dad."

"Excellent! Sign here. We'll get everything sorted." Kishore smiled triumphantly, stepping aside to let me sign the paperwork. He handed me a fountain pen with a smirk, and I leaned over the desk.

"Where do I sign?" I muttered, looking up at Nora.

"There's only one space left there...It's marked with the post-it note," Kishore frowned and pointed to the bottom right hand corner of the paper, "Right there... next to Tara's signature."

However, Nora finally understood what I was trying to tell her, and she stepped up, "Right there, can't you see it... Ohhhh"

*Thump!*

Nora stumbled and pushed the cup out of Dad's hands and onto the desk. Hot tea spilling all over Kishore's precious documents.

"Oh dear!" She cried out. "How clumsy of me!" She said apologetically. She turned to Kishore, who stared daggers at her, and then at my dad.

"Don't worry honey, nothing spilled over me," my dad reassured her, "But I guess the document is ruined." He added, looking down at the papers.

"Oh... I am so sorry!" she cried out again, "I am so sorry Kishore!"

Kishore glared furiously at her, but quickly regained his composure, smiling politely and shaking his head, "It's fine. It's fine. We can get another copy printed quickly today."

He glanced over at the Solicitor, who shook his head, "Not until Tuesday. Today is Sunday and I can only get this notarized tomorrow and then bring it over Tuesday morning."

"But we need it done right now! The Board meeting is tomorrow!"

"Sorry, Kishore. Can't rush an important document like this. It needs to be done right, otherwise, later, there might be problems. You can understand!" He replied with shrug of his head.

"But... but..." Kishore spluttered, his eyes wide in disbelief. He looked like a kid who'd just been denied a reward at the last moment after finishing all his chores!

"It's ok, Son. We can do it before the next meeting, next month," my dad said with a sigh. "Let's just get this cleaned up, Jhanvi. Nora, Tara, let's go have breakfast, shall we?"

As Dad left, along with Tara, Nora and Jhanvi, I hid my smile and patted my brother's shoulder consolingly, "I guess you'll have to do without my vote for the time being." I told him with a grin, "But don't worry, I'll attend the Board meeting in person so you can count on me tomorrow to vote on any new proposals you have in mind."

***

Back at the dining table, Dad spent a bit of time asking Tara how her exams were going. She had been going through her semester exams this week and still had a few subjects left to study.

Meanwhile, Nora sat beside me with a faint smile on her face, and a twinkle of mischief in her eye. My right hand reached over and caressed her thigh softly. "You were brilliant there. You played that whole scene perfectly." I complimented her, whispering under my breath.

"Thank you, Master," she whispered back, a slight smile on her lips. "I am glad that I was able to help."

"I'll need to thank you in private later, for saving me there. I'll make sure that you get a very, very special treat for your efforts," I whispered, my hands reaching over to her lap, squeezing her thighs.

"Shhhh... Not now, Suraj," Nora whispered urgently, glancing at Kishore, who was busy on a call with someone at the other side of the room. Looking at his expression, he was probably being berated by Ravi or Oberoi for this failure.

I was just about to say something to Nora when there was a knock on the door, and we turned around to see Pooja Didi and Karan enter.

"I hope we're not too late for breakfast!" Pooja Didi exclaimed, walking into the dining room and smiling at us brightly.

She looked radiant as always, with her long hair flowing behind and a bright pink saree wrapped around her body, hugging her curvy frame tightly. Beside her, Karan wore the same clothes as from last night. However, he seemed to have showered, no doubt a nice sexy shower with my Didi.

"Pooja? Karan? What a pleasant surprise. Come, join us. Have breakfast and stay for a bit longer!" My dad greeted them with a big smile, waving to them. Pooja Didi walked over to Dad and leaned down, touching his feet, followed by Karan, who did the same.

"How come both of you came over at the same time?" Tara asked them suspiciously, narrowing her eyes at Pooja Didi and Karan, while they sat down, taking the empty seats across the table. Karan was her secret boyfriend after all, although no one, apart from me, knew it.

Pooja Didi shrugged innocently, "Oh... I bumped into him on the way here."

Tara raised an eyebrow, "Really? And what were you doing outside our house at 9 am in the morning, Karan? Didn't you tell me that you were busy with some work for your father for a few days and didn't have any time to meet me."

"Well, I uhmm..." My best friend stammered nervously, caught off guard by Tara's questions. He looked over at me for support.

"I-I had called him for some help with my marketing project. I'm... err... thinking of collaborating with his dad's hotel chains in India and overseas to promote my brand and he is helping out with the plans," I blurted out

"Yes... that. He saw me walking here and picked me up on the way," Pooja Didi added smoothly. "I'm sure you don't mind, Tara," she added with a wink.

I looked over at Karan, who was panicking that his girlfriend might find out that he spent last night having a threesome with Pooja Didi and me. However, even after my epic threesome with Pooja Didi and Tara, there was still a hint of rivalry between the pair and Tara just rolled her eyes and was about to retort when luckily Dad interrupted the incoming storm.

"It's been such a long time since we had so many people together for breakfast!" Dad commented happily.

"Reminds me of the festival celebrations we had years ago. Like Diwali, Holi." Pooja Didi said with a smile at my father, placing her hand on his palm, "Maybe we can start having the celebrations in a big way like we used to back then, Babuji?"

My father smiled at her affectionately, "That sounds lovely! It has been a while since we had a big celebration, hasn't it? I think that would be wonderful!"

"What about Karwa Chauth, Dad?" Tara suggested, "It's tomorrow, isn't it? Maybe we can celebrate it in full form, like old times. Nora can fast for you, while Pooja and Jhanvi can pray for Kishore Bhaiya's and Ravi's good health!"

While Dad grinned and agreed, one look at Jhanvi and Pooja Didi's faces told me that this wasn't something that either sister was particularly looking forward to.

'Oh God, Tara, what have you gotten us into!'

***

Karva Chauth is a festival in India where married women fast for their husband's long lives during the entire day. They do not eat or drink water until their one love offers them a sip of water to break their fast under the crescent moonlight. This is considered an ancient tradition, and the wives pray for the safety and longevity of their husbands.

"This sucks!", Jhanvi grumbled, "I am NOT keeping a fast for Kishore. No matter what Babuji says."

"Me neither. Ravi doesn't deserve my prayers!" Pooja Didi muttered angrily, crossing her arms, "The lucky bastard is flying back today, just in time for the festival!"

Tara had whisked Karan away for some 'catch-up time' in her room, leaving Didi and Jhanvi alone with me. I knew they were pissed and before they said or did something they shouldn't, I pulled them both aside to my room to talk privately.

"Listen... I know that neither Ravi nor Kishore deserves anything from both of you, but we have to make an appearance tomorrow. If Ravi gets even slightly suspicious then he might start getting paranoid. We can't afford any unnecessary drama at this stage of our plan!"

I couldn't blame either sister for their reactions. Their cheating scumbag husbands certainly did not deserve such gestures from them! But we were this close to winning now; all the gears were in motion and if we needed to just get over one stupid festival to finally expose Ravi's plans and save the family business, then this was a small price to pay for that. Just needed to pretend for one last day. I was sure both sisters would understand this.

"NO!" Pooja Didi snapped, interrupting my inner monologue. "I will NOT do it for Ravi!"

"Me neither. I don't want to keep a stupid fast for that asshole Kishore!" Jhanvi echoed her elder sister.

"Didi... Jhanvi..." I started, but Pooja Didi and Jhanvi both turned away from me, arms crossed stubbornly.

"You two aren't listening! If you don't keep that fast for Ravi and Kishore, they might suspect something!"

"We said 'No', Suraj!" Pooja Didi snapped at me, "The only way I am keeping that fast is if you are the one who is there tomorrow evening, giving me a sip of water to break my fast."

"You are the one we love! The one we care about!" Jhanvi added, "Not Ravi, nor Kishore, both of whom cheated on us and then tried to get you killed for God's sake! If I am keeping a fast, it will only be for you."

"Are the both of you serious?" I asked them in exasperation, "It's just a festival! You can pretend for one day!"

Pooja Didi walked up to me, Jhanvi at her side, as both glared defiantly at me. "You don't understand a woman's heart, do you? It's not just any festival! This festival symbolizes a woman's love for her spouse! How could you ask us to pretend to be a loving wife to those scumbags, while we are really in love with you!"

Jhanvi nodded along, "Exactly! We love you, Suraj. So, if you want us to keep a fast in front of the rest of the family, then you better make sure that you get our husbands out of the house tomorrow night, else they will see us walk up to you instead of them!"

"So, what do you want me to do?" I asked them, feeling a bit frustrated by this situation. They weren't being fair. Why couldn't they understand that this was just temporary!

Jhanvi stepped forward, wrapping her arms behind me in a hug, "We know that you love us too. We've shared so much together, so much passion... so much love. We trust you with anything, even when you invited Karan to join in. But tomorrow night, we want YOU. Just you. Alone, with no distractions! And we will keep the fast for you."

I sighed. There was no use arguing with either sister when they were being this stubborn. And honestly, I couldn't fault them for feeling like this. I mean I would feel exactly the same way if I were in their positions!

"Fine! I will make some excuse to get both Ravi and Kishore away from you tomorrow, Okay? But you need to promise me to behave and act normally until then. No arguments or drama in front of Dad, Tara, or anyone! Deal?"

They both first smiled at each other, then wrapped their hands around my neck in a hug and kissed my cheeks. Both turned to me with big smiles on their faces.

"Deal!"

***

'How the hell do I get both Ravi and Kishore to disappear tomorrow night! ' I muttered irritably to myself as I sat in my room, trying to figure out how to solve this mess. And to add to my troubles, Nora sauntered in just before lunch with another problem of her own.

"Suraj... we need to talk about Narayan!" she muttered to me.

'Oh great! Now what!'

"Well, I've turned up my charms around him, like we had planned, and I was sure he was falling for it but..." she mumbled uncertainly, standing at the door, looking a bit dejected, "I'm not sure now."

I raised my eyebrows as I looked at Nora, acting so hesitant, unlike herself. It was strange seeing her so unsure of herself.

"What happened?" I asked, standing up and walking over towards her, "What did he do?"

"I did some digging around, hearing the office gossip and found his weak link!" She said, biting her lower lip anxiously. "It's his wife; you see he married into some money on his wife's side. And apparently, she caught him fooling around a few years ago, and has given him an ultimatum that if he ever gets caught with another woman again then he will lose everything! The house, his kids... all of it."

"Doesn't that make it easy?" I asked, grinning at her. That sounded like a perfect trap for a pig like Narayan. A simple blackmail and we'll have him confessing to all sorts of crimes. "You can use that to your advantage!"

Nora shook her head, "I thought so too, and I was confident that I had him wrapped around my finger but when I asked him to meet me for lunch today, he didn't show up!"

"Maybe something important came up?" I suggested. "What was your plan anyway?"

"I had my assistant, Raju, hidden away with a camera and maybe get a few choice shots of him enjoying a meal and a passing kiss or two. It doesn't need to be explicit; I'd die before letting a pig like him try anything more. It was supposed to be just enough for his wife to misunderstand... But he stood me up!" Nora pouted, looking at me dejected. She looked like a puppy who had been denied a treat!

"Narayan... HE stood... YOU... up?" I said with a raised eyebrow, glancing at Nora's voluptuous figure, "Are we talking about the same Narayan here? I mean this guy couldn't stop talking about you back in the sauna at the resort, remember..."

She rolled her eyes and nodded, "Yes! Yes. I know I am very... irresistible..." she admitted with a small smile. "But he stood me up! And read this message from him, something is off." Nora replied, showing me a message on her phone from Narayan.

'I'm sorry Mrs. Kapoor. I'm going away for a week for some urgent family emergency. Maybe we can catch later...'

I frowned... 'Family Emergency? What does that mean?' I thought for a moment, while Nora waited expectantly, "Did you try calling him after?"

"Of course I did! But it went straight to his voicemail. He's ignoring me!"

"That's strange... Wait let me check something." I muttered, turning around to my laptop. I booted up the trace software I had put on Ravi's phone and found his chats with Narayan and my face fell, "Oh... Shit."

"What?" Nora asked anxiously, walking over to see what I was looking at.

There in the most recent chats between Ravi and Narayan, Ravi had instructed Narayan to take the next 2 weeks off and break off contact with anyone at the office, including Ravi and Nora! Apparently, the faked quarterly reports were already prepared and he wanted Narayan to disappear so that no one would be able to question him if they suspected anything. The bastard was making sure all his bases were covered.

"Ravi is getting paranoid," I muttered, "Doesn't even trust you and Kishore anymore. He is making Narayan go undercover. That's why he didn't meet you. And look at this message. He's booked Narayan for a single room in the offsite resort for the next week. So that no one can even reach him at his home!"

Nora's eyes widened and she shook her head in frustration, "That bastard. How do we get to Narayan now!".

'How indeed?' I thought it over. Luckily thanks to my spyware I at least knew Narayan's position. But given the strict instructions from Ravi, he was unlikely to fall for Nora, even if she showed up there.

I needed someone just as attractive as Nora to lure this old pig out. Someone we could trust; who he didn't know though, so Pooja and Jhanvi were ruled out. I glanced over at Nora, standing pensively beside me, twirling her hair around her finger, biting her lip nervously while she waited for me to say something.

I smiled slowly. It might work. But it was a big risk...

"Well... You're not going to like it, but I think I have plan..." I told her and laid out my plan. As I expected, she was hesitant and even outright against it initially, but eventually I convinced her that it could work. There was no other way if we wanted to save my family!

***

Next morning...

The entire house was buzzing with excitement for the Karwa Chauth festival celebrations. Everyone was dressed in their finest clothes, with Jhanvi and Didi wearing beautiful red sarees, embroidered with gold lace. However, Nora was in her office attire since she would be there for the Board Meeting with Kishore, Ravi and me.

As the girls saw us off, pretending to be loving wives for Kishore and Ravi, I couldn't help but feel nervous about the day. Not about the board meeting, but the evening after. I knew both Pooja Didi and Jhanvi, they could be stubborn as hell. And I knew they would stick to their word if I didn't come up with something to get rid of their husbands tonight.

***

The Board Meeting went without a hitch. I guess Kishore couldn't pull whatever stunt he had planned with me present there. He was furious at my presence and glared at me throughout most of the meeting, but I didn't care.

By lunchtime, the Directors had left, giving me the opportunity to ponder on what to do next with Kishore and Ravi. I had almost given up hope when Nora strutted into my cabin in her short pencil skirt and tight blouse, showing off her curves.

"What is up with you? You were so tense today all through the meeting." She commented, leaning forward, exposing ample cleavage in my direction, "What happened?"

I sighed and leaned back in my chair. I just couldn't focus, "I am worried about the evening. Didi and Jhanvi have threatened to blow up if I don't keep their husbands away tonight..."

"So, they're keeping the fast for you too..." she smirked eyeing me mischievously.

'You too...' the words hung in the air for a second before I looked back at Nora.

"... Wait! Not you too..." I groaned as incredulously, "Oh come on! It's just a festival, for god's sake! Do none of you get that?"

"I love you too, remember?" Nora said playfully, "I have every reason to keep fast too, don't I? Or does my master not consider me equal to Jhanvi and Pooja?" She said with a teasing glint in her eyes.

"Of course I do. It's just... I am worried. Won't Dad, or anyone else, notice you keeping the fast for ME rather than HIM!"

She giggled and kissed me softly on my lips, "I'm not like the other two to dump you with a problem like that. I'll take care of my 'husband' myself. Your poor father is on so many medicines that he will doze off way before the time comes. Trust me."

"And if he doesn't?"

"Trust me, Master. It's my first Karwa Chauth. I am going to make sure that it's a memorable one for both of us!"

"That still leaves me with two other husbands to get rid of!" I muttered, pressing my fingers against my forehead and leaning back in the chair dejectedly.

"I told you that you had too many wives! But you just wouldn't listen!" Nora laughed and walked behind me, massaging my shoulders, "Maybe you can finally select one of us, hint -- me, and let the others go!"

I chuckled at the thought, "Oh ha ha! I like things just the way they are."

"Mmm... I bet you do!" Nora murmured, her hands massaging my shoulders, "Having three beautiful, sexy women at your beck and call to fulfil your every fantasy? Who wouldn't like that?"

I smirked and relaxed into her hands. "We already had this talk. What I need are some real suggestions?"

She chuckled and bent down over the back of my office chair, her arms resting on my chest while she spoke into my ear seductively, "You're lucky that I love you so much. Not every woman would be happy to share her man with other women!" She nibbled on my earlobe playfully before straightening back up with a laugh.

"Noraaaa... stop teasing. You know how stubborn those two can be. Is there any way I can keep their husbands occupied for the evening?"

Nora grinned and spun me around so that we were facing each other again, her hands running over the buttons of my shirt slowly, "What do I get if I help you?"

I raised an inquisitive eyebrow, "You know how to keep them occupied and away from home?"

Nora nodded, biting her lower lip suggestively. Her fingers continued to trace lines along my muscular body underneath the fabric of my shirt, "And what do you want?"

She leaned in and whispered her plan into my ears, and I couldn't help but laugh. It was perfect! I knew exactly what we needed to do.

***

"Wow, I'm so happy to be blessed with such beautiful bahus!" My father exclaimed, looking over at Jhanvi and Pooja Didi who just walked in from Jhanvi's room.

Both sisters were dressed up in their best sarees, decked in jewellery and makeup, looking absolutely gorgeous. Jhanvi's dark brown hair with her loose curls framed her face beautifully, and her deep brown eyes contrasted perfectly against the ruby red sari draped elegantly around her curvaceous figure.

Beside her, Pooja Didi was stunning in an elegant black-red lehenga, her waistline accentuated further by the thin silver chain wrapped tightly around her midsection, which matched perfectly against the shimmering diamond necklace dangling between her ample tits and her long silky hair flowing freely down past her shoulders.

"Thank you, Babuji!" Jhanvi said with a smile. She glanced towards me with a meaningful look, "I hope my husband appreciates his wife properly tonight!"

"We need to find you a beautiful and sanskari wife soon, Son." Father commented, patting me on the back, "Look how lucky Kishore and Ravi are to have Jhanvi and Pooja! Your mother would have also loved to see you married and settled by now."

"Oh yeah, definitely. I'm working on it." I replied with a smirk as my eyes lingered over Pooja Didi and Jhanvi. I was working on stealing both of these beauties away from their husbands.

"Oh, stop pestering him, Pankaj. He's still young and single, let him enjoy that for some more time!" Nora interrupted cheerfully. She sat beside my father on the couch, looking gorgeous herself in a sultry red saree just like Jhanvi and Didi.

However, unlike my other wives, Nora always loved to dress super sexy, even with Dad around. Her saree hugged her curves tightly, leaving little to imagination, while the skimpy little strapless blouse showed off plenty of cleavage.

My father laughed good-heartedly at her words, "You are right Nora, but a daughter-in-law like Jhanvi has been a blessing for Kishore." He gestured towards Jhanvi, "Speaking of him, where are Kishore and Ravi? Shouldn't they be back from work by now? It's almost sunset."

"Oh, don't worry, Kishore called me and informed me they will be here soon enough?" Nora smirked, exchanging a knowing glance with me before turning to Jhanvi and Pooja Didi. "Why don't the two of you get up the roof and set everything up? I'll send them up once they arrive," She added sweetly.

Pooja Didi's and Jhanvi's faces fell at her words and both looked at me helplessly. They wanted to protest but I shook my head at them silently and mouthed the word 'Sorry' at them. They were probably expecting a last-minute miracle but Nora's words shattered all hope for that now. Both of them scowled at Nora before reluctantly following her directions and heading upstairs to the roof terrace.

***

Pooja's POV

"What do we do now, Didi!" My younger sister Jhanvi asked me anxiously as we waited on the roof, watching the sunset as the twilight approached.

The entire terrace was decorated beautifully in preparation for the evening ceremony. Small diyas (oil lamps) lined the perimeter walls, creating a warm glow that illuminated everything inside the space and candles flickered gently in the gentle breeze. A small table with several trays of delicious food had been arranged at centre stage.

But neither of us felt like enjoying anything right now. Not with Ravi and Kishore arriving any moment now.

"I don't know... I trusted Suraj to figure something," I replied dejectedly. "He promised to keep Ravi away..."

"Maybe he couldn't help it," Jhanvi offered weakly, sliding up next to me and holding my hand. She gave it an encouraging squeeze, but I knew that she was equally disappointed.

"Well, in the worst case scenario, we can just have something to eat by ourselves before anyone notices. At least, our 'husbands' don't get anything from us this year!" I smiled and wrapped my arm around Jhanvi, pulling her close. "It would have been nice to celebrate it with Suraj alone though."

"We will definitely do it next year." Jhanvi smiled and looked up at me with a grin, "And the year after that and the year after that..."

We stood there in silence, enjoying the view as the sun sank beneath the horizon, bathing the skies in its final crimson glow. Our house was in the middle of a big estate, so it offered privacy and a beautiful view of the city skyline.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" I remarked wistfully, watching the lights in the city skyline flicker on below us. "Remember the time when we used to have sleepovers here with Suraj and Karan? Playing games on the roof, late into the night."

"How could I forget! We played cards all the time!" Jhanvi replied, "And Karan always cheated!"

We chatted away for some time. Our stomachs grumbling with hunger as we waited for the inevitable, with a sliver of hope for a miracle. Our stomachs grumbled again, but we didn't touch any of the food, determined to wait till Suraj arrived and saved us. But minutes passed by slowly, bathing the roof with darkness, with just the twinkling lights of the oil lamps and the roof lights providing the only light for us. Fifteen minutes later, there still wasn't any sign of Suraj or Kishore and Ravi. We had almost resigned ourselves to our fate when...

*Ring* *Ring*

Jhanvi's phone buzzed with a call from Kishore. She answered the call, and I watched as her face first fell and then suddenly lit up with a smile again as she ended the call. She turned to look at me with hopeful eyes, "Kishore says that he won't be coming back today. He is stuck at a meeting with his clients. It may go late into the night since the deadline is tomorrow, so he might stay back at the hotel instead of driving back home tonight once he is done?"

"Oh Jhanvi, You're so lucky!" I said with relief, "What about Ravi? Will he be with Kishore too?"

"He didn't say!" Jhanvi shook her head dejectedly and my heart sank again before...

*Ring* *Ring*

Ravi's name popped up on the screen of my cell. My heart skipped with a tiny glimmer of hope as I picked it up to answer. Maybe Kishore had convinced Ravi to stay away. I could only hope.

"Hello, Ravi?" I asked nervously.

"Hi Pooja, sorry for keeping you waiting. But I won't be able to make it home tonight. There is a fuck up at the office with one of our clients and I need to travel to Mumbai to handle the mess. I'm boarding now and I should be there early in the morning tomorrow. Sorry again, but I will make it up to you. Bye." He cut the phone before I could get in a word.

"Did he cancel too?" Jhanvi asked me hopefully.

I nodded slowly, looking at her in disbelief. Was this really happening? "Yup. Something went wrong with his client, and he needs to go to Mumbai tonight!"

"This has to be Suraj's doing. There is no way both of them would cancel at the exact same time!" Jhanvi grinned excitedly, looking around the roof for him.

I too turned around to look for him when suddenly the lights of the roof went out, plunging us into darkness. The only light was the soft twinkling of small diyas around us.

I looked over at Jhanvi who was just as surprised as I was. She looked nervously at me. It was a bit scary being out here alone in the dark and I was about to head over towards the switchboard when someone grabbed both Jhanvi and me, by our bare waists, from behind, startling us both. We gasped in surprise and then relaxed instantly, recognizing the touch of the familiar fingers caressing us.

"You're late!" I whispered, turning to glare playfully at our handsome lover standing behind me. "Any longer, and my sister and I would have started eating all this delicious food by ourselves!"

Suraj grinned sheepishly, "I'm sorry ladies! I wanted to keep this a surprise for the two of you. Watching you suffer through all of this was killing me, but I thought a romantic setting dinner all by ourselves would make it all worthwhile?"

"You are so mean!" My sister complained but leaned over to kiss our handsome prince charming on the cheek, "How did you manage to convince them to cancel tonight?"

"Well, it wasn't all me, you see. I had a bit of help on that. And I have another surprise for the two of you!" He shuffled nervously and turned the two of us around.

I gasped loudly, my jaw dropped with shock as I saw Nora standing beside us, smiling nervously at us, "Hi Jhanvi, hi Pooja."

Suraj's POV

I glanced nervously between Pooja Didi and Jhanvi. Both women stared in shock at the third member of my harem, Nora.

"Hiii..." Nora spoke up hesitantly with a weak wave of her hands. "Looks like it's three wives instead of two for Suraj tonight...", she added, looking at me uncertainly, while Pooja Didi and Jhanvi turned their heads and glared daggers at me.

"I can explain..." I started to speak but Pooja Didi cut me.

"W-what are you doing here?" She stammered in disbelief, staring at the beautiful Nora, her expression caught somewhere between rage and surprise.

Nora took half a step forward and smiled at her apologetically, "Look... I know how this looks... and I'm really, really sorry for this surprise", she paused briefly before continuing with a shrug of her shoulders, "Okay, maybe let me get started from the beginning."

It all finally came out then, I had hidden Nora's return to our team after the kidnapping attempt of both of us. And how she was now deeply in love with me and helping me with Narayan and betraying Ravi and Kishore in the process.

Both Jhanvi and Pooja listened to her story intently without saying a word throughout, their faces expressionless, until Nora finished telling her story. Then they turned to look at me.

"It was YOUR idea to seduce her in the first place, Didi." I muttered nervously almost shrinking under her piercing gaze, "You can't blame me that she ended up falling in love with me, can you?!"

I waited for the volcano of Pooja Didi's anger to explode but to my surprise, Pooja rolled her eyes, shaking her head slowly, "No wonder you were always so confident and sure of deceiving Ravi and Kishore at every instance. I should have guessed it!" She looked over at her sister with a sigh, "What do you think Jhanvi? Are you ok with Nora joining our little family?"

Jhanvi looked thoughtfully at her elder sister's question, her eyes narrowing at Nora for several silent long moments before answering with a small smile. "I guess so... It's not like me saying no is going to make you love Suraj any less, is there?" She shrugged her shoulders and looked over at me with an exasperated look on her face, "How many wives will you keep before you are satisfied, anyway! You greedy little man!"

Everyone burst out laughing, including myself, at Jhanvi's comment and I felt a wave of relief wash over me as I saw both Didi and Jhanvi accept my new relationship with Nora. With Pooja Didi and Jhanvi already in my arms, I nodded at Nora, who walked over to us with a smile and embraced the three of us happily.

I looked down at the three gorgeous women in my arms. Each woman was different, yet special, in her own way. Jhanvi, with her girl-next-door charm and innocence. Pooja Didi, with her fiery temperament, strong personality, but a loving heart. Lastly, there was the sexy minx Nora, who came from a broken past but now loved me unconditionally. Each was perfect AND unique in her own way, and I wouldn't give any one up for anything. I was one lucky bastard indeed!

"I love you all!" I told them, planting a soft tender kiss on each of their forehead and wrapping my arms around them. The girls giggled, hugging me back tightly, and whispering their affectionate replies back to me, "We love you too, Master!"

Then, Nora pulled back from the group, looking around the roof with a wide grin, "Now I don't know about you two, but I've fasted for so long before, so if everyone is ok, shall we begin this Karva Chauth celebration?", She asked, looking at Jhanvi and Pooja Didi, "Jhanvi's prepared a feast for us and I'm dying to try everything!"

"Oh god. Me too. Let's get the rituals over with and eat!" Pooja Didi groaned eagerly, her stomach grumbling audibly, eliciting another round of laughter amongst all of us.

Jhanvi quickly ran and got us the items for the ceremony and each girl made a half-circle around me. I sat in the centre as they applied tika on my forehead and then picked up a sieve each. They looked up at the moon with the sieve and then back at me, chanting a small prayer for my wellbeing. It was weird as hell, but who was I to make fun of tradition.

Finally, I picked up a small brass glass full of water and offered each of them a sip. Then I took a bit of sweet ladoo (dessert) and fed a small morsel to each of them to finally finish the elaborate ceremony. All four of us clapped in glee when it ended and immediately rushed over to dig into Jhanvi's delicious food, which was setup on a small table in front of the large couch on the roof.
