What a wild ride his life has become since going home that summer.

The firm with the Wonder team performing such feats as Adam's latest with the bridge excels even further without an end in sight. When Tom is ready to retire, he offers the job to Adam, but he declines, deferring to Brad and the excuse he still wants to keep 'getting his hands dirty.' The extended Erickson family is blessed again at the first of the year, twice. Caitlyn gave birth to a little girl named Mallory Eve Allen late on December 31st. A few days later, Adam and Bull drive the newborns and mothers home. Alice sits in the back with Ashley, watching the new mothers fidget over their newborns. While remembering when she did the same over Adam and Allie, plus more recently over Ashley.

The whole family returns to the apartment building in short order, and a week later, they have a small party with friends celebrating both children. The two are now referred to as 'The Twins' as they were born minutes apart. Brad and his new wife, plus Brian, are invited, as are Sensei Ono and his wife, a few other dojo instructors, and wives, plus the same from the Firm and doctor's office. It was a wonderful time for everyone, and the children were, of course, doted over by both sets of parents. For her part, Alice was the perfect hostess and experienced mother, calming both new mothers, even though both had been there for her from day one with Ashley. As the evening winds down, Alice offers her support to Kate if she needs it, and she is smothered by the younger woman in a tight hug and tears. Bull takes his ladies home, holding his daughter as if he is afraid he will break her.

Meanwhile, Adam handles his new son like an old pro after his recent experience with Ashley. Alice and Allie just watch him in wonder at the comfort he has attained as a Father in the truest sense of the word. Alice realizes that the kid's father, Albert, was never like this with either of his kids. Adam is already a better father than 'Sperm Donor' ever was, and she smiles. As they all tire, Adam gets his kids into their cribs with fresh feedings and diapers. He then takes his wives to bed and snuggles them the rest of the night.

Adam gets up late in the night to check on his children, feeds Austin at that early hour, and puts him back to bed to sleep until morning. Unknown to Adam, Allie got up about ten minutes after he did and just watched him loving his children. Her pride and love for him almost make her run to him and kiss him. She knows she will have to share him with his kids from now on, and she is more than Okay with that. She returns to bed before him and snuggles back into him as soon as he returns, as does Alice in her sleep.

Allie lets the cat out of the bag, though. "I love you, Adam. You are the Man I will love forever for all the things that make you you. You are an exceptional man, friend, and father. I couldn't have done better if I designed you myself. Our love will always be served, Adam. Even now that I have to share you truly. With our children. Alice did an exceptional job bringing us up and then bringing us together those few years ago. I'm more happy than I ever dreamed of being. Thank you for loving us, my dearest husband and brother. I love you." Adam just lays there listening to Allie and smiles. When she finishes, he just kisses her long and tenderly soon after they fall asleep until morning.​
