Chapter 03.2
Deidraphon shuddered and mounted the statue.
"I know you would do anything for your daughter," said Selvanna.
Deidraphon aimed herself so that the shaft of the statue's candelabra was pointed at the entrance to her Sacred Gorge.
"That was true," said Selvanna.
Deidraphon cried out as she impaled herself on the shaft. She felt her Sacred Gorge being violated by this cold, hard rock.
"Now start moving!" Selvanna snapped.
Deidraphon started to work herself up and down on the Compassionate One's candelabra. She felt the manatas beginning to get warm between her Wisdoms.
"Go on. You're making wonderful progress."
Deidraphon started to pole faster up and down on the candelabra, which, like the figurine hanging from her neck, was also getting warm. The hard stone feeling inside her Gorge was changing too... it was becoming more fleshlike. As Deidraphon continued to move up and down on it, the angry face of the Compassionate One started to animate, acquiring small signs of life.
As she poled up and down on the candelabra, Deidraphon felt the manatas between her Wisdoms starting to drain her. All the energy, all the exertion she was making was somehow feeding it. She felt her powers weakening by the moment.
Selvanna smiled. "I have arranged for some entertainment for your final moments. Look to your right, dear."
Deidraphon looked in the indicated direction. She saw a woman, mounting the body of a man lying on his back. The woman's back was slick with sweat which reflected the torchlight as she moved up and down on the man's candelabra. The woman groaned, causing Deidraphon to stiffen, and then she turned her head.
It was her daughter Gabriella.
"Yes, she's Made the Change," said a soft voice in her ear. "She's going to be such a fine addition to our work here."
"You... you said you wouldn't harm her," Deidraphon gasped. It was becoming increasingly difficult to talk. She felt weaker and weaker. The manatas hanging from her neck was starting to glow.
"I said she wouldn't be consumed," said Selvanna. "And she's not. At least not now." She looked into Deidraphon's eyes, even as she never stopped working herself up and down on the Compassionate One's candelabra. "You didn't really think we were just going to let her go, did you? Trust me, this is the best thing that could ever happen to her."
"No... no.... Gabriella!" she cried, looking as her only child rode up and down on some man's candelabra.
Gabriella turned her head, as if noticing her mother for the first time. "Mother," she said, with a wide grin.
"Don't let them do this," said Deidraphon, as she continued working herself up and down. It was getting harder and harder to do. She felt herself getting close to exhaustion as the energy drained from her body.
"But it feels so good, Mother," said Gabriella. Her cheeks of plenty glistened with sweat as she pumped up and down on her mystery lover, juicing him really vigorously. "It all feels so good."
"It really does," said the man underneath her. But that was no ordinary man. It was Dog Man!
"Awooo!" he cried, as hot wax spurted out of his rosy pink candelabra deep inside of Gabriella's Sacred Gorge.
"Aaaahhhhh!" Deidraphon cried in agony, as she felt a large chunk of herself drain into the manatas which hung between her Wisdoms. She rode the statue's candelabra once more, then twice, then thrice, and then finally collapsed on top. The last thing she was her daughter, still riding athletically up and down, giggling and laughing as Dog Man continued to spelunk her. "Bye bye Mother," she giggled.
Deidraphon's body slumped and lay still. Her body gave off an orange glow, and then desiccated, turning into powder. In moments, all that was left was the manatas.
Selvanna picked it up and smiled. Now she had all the power of the Druidess at her fingertips. It would make her tremendously stronger. Perhaps... even stronger than Cunha? Or Sanjay? No, it was dangerous to think that way. She shouldn't. She couldn't.
The next target after the druids were the Wizards.
"You are in grave danger," said Peine.
Robbar Morganthau looked skeptically at the tall wizard with the long white beard before him. "Really?" he said, reclining back in his chair.
Morganthau was the headmaster of the School of Wizards. He and his instructors trained men in the use of the Power. Not women, of course, oh no! Those few women who had the Power tended to be much weaker in strength than men. And women were so concerned about looking pretty and polishing their Sacred Gorges that they couldn't be relied on to embark on a serious program of study. That didn't prevent women from working in the School, as servicers to the students and staff, for even if women didn't have the Power, they did have a greater Wisdom which men could certainly appreciate.
"Yes, really," said Peine. "They worship the Compassionate One."
"The Compassionate One," said Morganthau, with a small smile. "The Goddess of Charity. The Lord of Good. It is all the same."
"No, it isn't. The Compassionate One is really Sauda Hommed."
"Sauda Hommed?" Morganthau squinted up at Peine. "Sauda Hommed is just a myth, used to scare children at bedtime."
"No, he's real," Peine insisted. "Read your own books."
"I have," said Morganthau confidently. "Half of them are filled with fables and exaggerations. There hasn't been even a reported sighting of Sauda Hommed in hundreds of years."
"I tell you he's real, and he exists," Peine said.
"How do you know? Have you spoken to him?"
"Well... no," said Peine.
"Have you seen him?"
"No," said Peine.
"Well?"
Peine stroked his long white beard. "I.... I have seen one of his Organizers. Sanjayata. Surely you know that much of history."
"History. Those fables again, you mean," said Morganthau. "Anyone could call themselves Sanjay, or Hormuza, or Alyssa Feinberg, and they couldn't readily be proved to be imposters, could they, since we have no idea what these people were actually like."
"They have taken on the Druids, and you are next," said Peine.
"I don't think so," said Morganthau. "I sent a delegation last week to Rockrod."
"I know. They were captured."
"No," said Morganthau, holding up a parchment. "I just got a wizard writing from Caltrans, the head of the delegation, a few hours ago. He writes that the new Emperor wants good relations with us, and in fact has taken them on as his personal advisors."
"No, you don't understand. Caltrans didn't write that."
"It was in his handwriting."
"I mean... he wrote that, but it wasn't really him," said Peine, rapidly losing patience.
He wasn't the only one getting impatient. Morganthau leaned back in his chair and sighed. "Would it be fair to say, Peine, that you and I have not had the greatest relations over the years?"
"I have always thought highly of you, my friend," said Peine, in his characteristic deep voice.
"My friend." Morganthau gave a bitter laugh. "Over the years we have sent emissaries to Emperor William, offering to advise him. Each and every emissary disappeared, and never returned."
"The road to Rockrod is sometimes a hazardous one," said Peine. "You cannot blame me for highwaymen."
"Do you know what I think, Peine?" said Morganthau. "I think for once that the School is going to have some influence with the Empire, and there's nothing you can do to stop it."
"No, my old friend-"
"We are not old friends, Peine. We never were. And I think it is time for you to leave."
Peine sighed, and turned to go.
"And Peine?"
Peine turned around again.
Morganthau gave him a stony stare. "Be careful on the road back to Rockrod. There be highwaymen."
Headmaster Morganthau had sent five of his most promising wizards to Rockrod, lead by Caltrans, his personal protégé. When Caltrans had come to the School, he knew little about the Power, except that he had been tested for it and he had it in abundance. He soaked up knowledge and learning quickly, becoming one of the most skilled users of the Power in the School in a few short years. He was handsome, too, with a mane of thick brown hair and a smile that caused more than a few Wise Ones to quiver.
Selvanna found Caltrans to be quite attractive too, as she watched him bangstick a statue in the Pit of Love.
But not just an ordinary statue. This statue was Emma, a washerwoman at Rockrod who had successfully born a number of meat pies. Emma had a good carrying capacity. That pest Peine, who Selvanna still didn't like or trust, had located Emma for her. Selvanna had to admit that Emma was a good choice for the role of hot wax receptacle, once she had been properly shaped and conditioned by the Power, of course. Now Emma was a stone statue, lying on her back with her legs obscenely spread, but with a giant belly made of glass.
A giant belly which was rapidly being filled with hot wax. It didn't take Selvanna long to intimidate the five young male wizards who Morganthau had sent to Rockrod. She had them working in round the clock shifts, filling Emma's belly to capacity.
The hot wax of those who were gifted with the Power was highly prized. It could be used for all sorts of potions, from healing to far seeing to a whole hosts of other uses. Of course, those who ingested the potions might not be eager to learn the ingredients.
"Aaaaaah," Caltrans cried, as he released inside Emma. Emma's Sacred Gorge was not, of course, made of rock, but rather a soft, scratchy material perfectly crafted to suit every candelabra's need to be irritated and excited by rubbing against it.
Selvanna looked at Caltrans' sweaty Cheeks of Plenty. She decided she would have to have him, recreationally, once he had Made the Change.
Selvanna shuddered as Sanjay appeared at her side. She always felt a cold chill whenever he appeared.
"How goes it?" he asked calmly, putting a hand on her shoulder which electrified and terrified her.
"The new slaves are filling Emma," said Selvanna.
"I see," said Sanjay, watching another young Wizard named Manfred obediently take Caltrans' place. He started thrusting inside of Emma vigorously as Caltrans sat, exhausted, on the cavern floor.
"The Tree of Life must be fertilized," said Sanjay.
"I'll have them Make the Change," said Selvanna. "It should be easy to break them, I-"
"No," said Sanjay. Selvanna felt his insistent hand go down her arm. "We need their hot wax to be pure and unadulterated. They must fertilize it before they Make the Change."
"Very well," Selvanna shrugged. "Once I have them finish filling up Emma-"
"This takes priority," said Sanjay. "Is there anything more important than bringing the Compassionate One into the world?"
"No... no there isn't," said Selvanna.
"Then first thing tomorrow, I want to see them fertilizing the Tree of Life."
"You will," said Selvanna, giving a brave smile.
"We can't keep cooperating like this," Halsted whispered, early the following morning. Like the other wizards, he was chained to the wall for the night. Every so often one of Selvanna's assistants walked by, beautiful women in sheer spidersilk outfits. The men were completely nude. Marion liked to walk by and flirt with the men, and make their candelabras stand up. She bet Samantha she could do it without touching them, and she was invariably successful. All she had to do was smile and turn sideways to show the outline of her luscious Wisdoms and say something playful, and the inevitable occurred.
"What choice do we have?" Caltrans said, his eye on Gabriella's ass as she wiggled across the cavern floor. She caught his glance and smiled at him, making him blush.
"They are collecting our hot wax for potions! Who knows what kind of nefarious things they will make with it!" said Halsted
"It concerns me as well," said Caltrans.
"If only we could get a message out to the Headmaster," said Halsted.
"I tried. But I'm isolated from the Power. We all are," Caltrans said.
"You weren't isolated when you Wizard Wrote that message to the Headmaster."
"I had no choice. They would have killed us otherwise," said Caltrans.
"And it was a wise move," said Selvanna, appearing in front of them. She smiled, giving them a good look up and down. "I need four of the five of you. Ladies?"
"I'll take Dorven," said Hannah, reaching up to unchain him.
"I want Halstead," said Gabriella, giving him a smile which made him blush.
"I'll take Manfred," said Samantha.
"And I'll take Caltrans," said Marion. As she unlocked his chains she whispered in his ear, "We are going to have such a good time together." And then it was Caltrans' turn to blush.
They were lead to the Tree of Life, that old, black, wizened thing which had midnight plums hanging from it.
Selvanna put her hand on the Tree and stood in front of them. "You have all been given a tremendous honor. You have been selected to fertilize the Tree of Life."
"That thing?" said Halsted. "Why?"
"You will have a unique role in bringing the Compassionate One into the world."
"No!" Manfred shouted. "I won't do it!"
Selvanna lifted a finger, and Dog beheaded him with his great axe. His body went tumbling to the ground. "Urethera," she said. "Go and be a dear girl and fetch me that last prisoner."
Urethera returned a moment later with Selid.
"Are there any other objections?" Selvanna asked. She paused only a half second. "Good. Begin, gentlemen."
Marion pushed Caltrans forward. He looked at the tree. There was a hole drilled into it at waist level on four sides. He put his finger in the hole and frowned. It was hard wood. He looked down at his candelabra, which was limp. "I....."
"Help them, dears," said Selvanna sweetly.
The druid girls started to fondle the young wizards' candelabras. Hannah whispered soft nothings to Dorven as she played with his thing. Gabriella smiled at Halstead and told him how handsome he was while she caused him to stiffen in her grasp. Samantha vigorously rubbed the tip of Selid's candelabra as she spoke words of encouragement to him.
"You're so handsome, so sexy," said Marion, as she fisted Caltran's candelabra. "You're going to bangstick the Tree of Life, but I wish you were doing it to me." With her free hand, she caressed his cheek, while moving her face close to his. "It can be me. We can be together, once you Make the Change."
Her words were wrong, the things she was saying was terrible, but to Caltrans' great shame his candelabra got rock hard, as if he hadn't just been spelunking inside of the statue of Emma eight hours earlier. It was all too much for him--Marion's seductive voice, her bright eyes, and the heavy outline of her Wise Ones in her spidersilk blouse.
"Good work," Selvanna smiled at the girls, when she saw that all the candelabras were reasonably stiff. "Begin phase two, girls."
Phase two, Caltrans thought. What is that?
He soon found out. The girls got down on their knees and put the wizards' candelabras in their mouths. They started sucking insistently. The young wizards started moaning.
"Careful," said Selvanna, slapping Marion on the back of the head. "I don't want a drop of his precious hot wax to go inside you."
Marion nodded slightly and slowed down the pace.
Selvanna closed her eyes and reached out with her senses. She could feel the jizz rising in all the young men. They were getting close... closer... "Get ready, girls." She could feel it rising in the men, rising now, reaching a peak-
"Now!" Selvanna commanded, opening her eyes.
The girls, acting as one, pulled out, stood up, took each candelabra by the hand, and inserted it into the Tree of Life. Caltrans, like the others, was so full of jizz, so close to Squirtatopea, that he couldn't resist thrusting back and forth inside the hard wood. It took only a few thrusts to reach completion. He and the other young men cried out and stiffened as one, as they emptied the contents of their nutsacks inside the Tree of Life.
Halstead was the first to recover after he pulled out. He looked at his rapidly shrinking candelabra, and then the wet hole he had just withdrawn from. "What have I done?" he cried.
"You've paved the way for the Compassionate One, duckling," said Gabriella, giving him a kiss as she pinched his Pride cheeks.
