Chapter 03.2

When they heard the morning birds chirp with all their heart and that triggered joy and excitement in their soul. A morning breeze toured the jungle making the flowers and leaves tango with rhythm and finesse touched the occupants of the cars through the open car windows. The early morning cold breeze ruffled through their hair and rejuvenated them from their slumber. The lush evergreen trees stood so firm as if the roots were clinging for their very life, in the distance one could hear the murmurings of a Crystal River and a waterfall at its source. The occupants of the cars could hear the rampaging rapids of the waterfall falling nearby and then they saw the water flow slowly converted into a swift river forcefully turning at every bank. The river cut through the middle of the jungle and diverted into another as a tributary. The aroma of the vegetation of the whole jungle mixed all together and formed a smell that engulfed the air around them creating a heavenly humid atmosphere.

All of them took a deep breath in not wanting to exhale and wishing that it could be a replacement for oxygen. Although everyone was in the car they basked in this atmosphere, it felt like they were in another world. A very thin blanket of mist covered the jungle as they could see the morning dew dripping urgently onto the leaves, determined to get the day started, an endeavor ably aided by the soft morning light puncturing the mist in parts, nudging the forest into life. The morning dew also sliced through the tangle of vines bordering the stately tropical rainforest there, shafts of sunlight were reflecting from morning dew slick leaves and highlight the aerial dances of butterflies everywhere. At first, they noticed the showiest species—medium-sized or large butterflies with wings adorned in vibrant colors, a striking contrast to the backdrop of lush verdancy. The two cars stopped on the way quietly to witness this marvelous scene in the morning sun that streaked down through the forest canopy.

"Waaaoooooo, what's a scene!" exclaimed Arpita.

They began to notice the scores of smaller-sized butterflies darting amongst the webwork of vines. By the side of the road, the clumps of grass were taller than a man's height and the Sal and teak were so dense that the foliage seemed impenetrable without a trunk and skin that didn't bruise easily. The two cars were break dancing on their way ahead due to the rough muddy road. The two cars were racing through terraced mountain fields, lush green grassy patches, and thick coniferous forests. The Jungle As the sun rose over the horizon it awoke the jungle slowly and efficiently. While passing through the dense forest cover, they came across the barking deer that stared at them with the most innocent eyes before turning around and running away.

The barking deer seemed to be shyer than the sambars and chitals. Like a new bride, they ran away the moment their vehicles stopped. One of them hid against a bamboo bush and, like a child playing hide-and-seek, once in a while it peeped out to check with the occupants of the cars. It was only a few minutes until they started seeing the lovely and shy chital and sambhar deer nearby. Families of deer were grazing on green leaves and grasses. The little ones seemed curious about the cars. Some of them stopped grazing, looked up at them, and froze. They would stare at them for a second and then gallop away into the forest. Bipasha was not sure if it was inquisitiveness or fear. The other members of the herd came one by one and in that moment of serenity, the jungle started growing on Bipasha, she was completely mesmerized and fascinated.

"Ohhh, this is fabulous. I have never witnessed such things ever in my life," cried Bipasha.

A lone mongoose couldn't hide away from them for long and was jumping by the side of the road very near to two cars. This was truly the wild heart of the forest. The morning had arrived in the jungle, and one by one, the animals were waking up. With the shining sun, a happy monkey was swinging back and forth by his tail in a tree. Gradually, they were entering into the deepest part of the jungle, a sort of semi--darkness enveloped them. The sky was almost completely shut out by the canopy of leaves high above them. At ground level, thick vegetation grew in every direction. The air was damp and had a peculiar smell to it. All around them were the sounds of insects, birds, and animals. The sounds echoed all over, making the jungle feel eerie and strange but with natural beauty.

After crossing over 40 minutes of the journey, they emerged from the deep jungle and reached a plateau. The clear blue sky was a welcome sight. From a distance, they could see the two-story red bungalow surrounded by a green fence. The two cars reached near the gate. The entrance gate was not an iron gate rather it was a big gate made from wild twigs and vines, strong enough to restrict any cattle and small animals to enter into the premises of Bungalow. The two cars stopped near the main gate. Both the family heads got down from the cars and untied the knots of the wild vines which were used as a lock to the gate. They opened wide the gate, paving way for the cars to enter the premises of Bungalow. Inside, it was a vast area, when the two cars passed through a tunnel of trees, and reached near the Bungalow, it took everybody's breath away.

It was a very old building of two-story made of red sandstone built in ancient British model. It had curved dormer windows peeped from the steeply sloped Mansard roof and the rest of the two-story house was a production of gables and rounded cornices, pale limestone, wrought-iron balconies, and a pretty porch. The low-cropped hedge splitting the front garden neatly down the middle and the additional front entrance tagged onto the left half of the house was barely noticeable.

It wasn't a Bungalow, rather it was a compound. Red stone, Green shutters of palm leaves. Two pillars flanked the front door. The sweet scent of fresh flowers filled their nostrils as behind the house, and on either side, were flower gardens, blooming with multi-colored flowers, the fragrance of which could be felt throughout the surrounding airs. The rolling front lawn, lush and green, continued to the edge of the property, where it was fenced off from the rest of the outside. Purple, pink, and white flowers grew over two oversized pots by the front door. Everybody stepped out of the cars. Both Bipin and Mihir started unloading the luggage from the cars.

"Those are beautiful flowers," said Bipasha.

Arpita inhaled deeply and said, "It smells wonderful in here."

Suddenly the female members of the family screamed with fear as if they had seen a ghost. Just 100 meters away from them emerged a group of 5 nos of tall black people armed with bows and arrows, spears, and daggers. They were almost all naked except their loins covered by some animal skins up to their knees. All were barefoot. Red-colored stripes covered their faces whereas their entire bare black bodies were covered with white-colored stripes. But distinguished among them was a person taller than others with a square-jawed, with long hair sticks up in tufts, He had a feathers crown on his head. He had several necklaces made of seeds, and animal teeth adorning his neck. He looked feral, and in a way he was. A handwoven grass bag adorned with feathers dangled over his chest. He seemed to be the leader of the group.

Then they noticed one of them was holding 8 nos of big red jungle fowls freshly hunted as blood was dripping out of them. The other one was holding 7 nos of big Rohu fish (Labeo Rohita) and Catla fish (Indian Carp) attached to a thick string of grasses caught from the river a few moments before as water was dripping out from them. On seeing them, both the heads of the family proceeded towards them. The members of the family were very much astonished to observe that on seeing Arnab and Bhaskar, the ferocious-looking group bowed their heads and hands before the family heads. Both Bhaskar and Arnab smiled and embraced affectionately each of the group. The head of the group conversed something with Bhaskar and Arnab, then they handed over fowls and fishes, and within a fraction of seconds, they vanished behind the bushes and fence. Arnab and Bhaskar returned to their family members.

"These people are Tree Tribes, they were all watching over for our arrival, and they came over here to meet us personally which was a courtesy meeting," said Bhaskar.

Then Arnab said, "Did you all see the Tribal chief? The tallest person with feathers crown, his name is Okato. He informed us that the festival will begin in three days. All the tribes will welcome us ceremoniously on that occasion. Till such time, we could explore and roam about the jungle, mountains and waterfalls and all other sightseeing."

"Ohhh...my god. They scared the hell out of us," said Ashmita in a trembling voice.

"In my life, the first time I am seeing Tribes," exclaimed Madhu.

Arpita smiled and said, "Grand paa, I was not afraid to see them as they were straight out from Hollywood western movies, the Red Indians. Wasn't it Bipasha?"

Bipasha supported the view of her friend, and said, "Yes, you are right, Arpita."

Bhaskar said, "Ok, let us get inside. Mihir and Bipin, take care of these fowls and fishes gifted by the tribes. Prepare these in the evening as these are the menu for our dinner."

Everyone made their entry inside the Bungalow and reached a big hall which had a big dining table in the corner with numerous wooden chairs surrounding it. All the luggage was kept on the floor of the hall. The hall was surrounded by two big and two small bedrooms along with a kitchen room and a toilet. In the middle of the hall, there was a long wooden staircase going upwards to reach the upper floor.

"On the ground floor, you will find only two rooms big, but you will find four big rooms on the upper floor," said Arnab.

Then Bhaskar said," We both have decided how our family members would share each room of the Bungalow.

Both our sons and daughters-in-law will share each big bedroom, I mean Debashish and Ashmita will share one of the big bedrooms on the upper floor, the next big bedroom will be shared by Dipankar and Madhu. Out of the rest big two bedrooms, one of the rooms will be shared by our daughters, Debika and Deboshree and the last one will be shared by our two granddaughters, Bipasha and Arpita. But we have a problem on the ground floor as me and Bhaskar, both of us need separate rooms for us as we both have a lot of paper works related to tribes as we both are representatives of the Govt and we need some privacy. We both could be accommodated in two small rooms on the ground floor, then there leave only two big bedrooms on the ground floor. Our wives, the elderly ladies need spacious rooms. If our wives Kaberi and Archana could be accommodated each in these two big bedrooms then how to accommodate Bipin and Mihir?"

Both the grandmothers were very gracious and accommodative. Kaberi and Archana discussed among themselves for some minutes. Then Kaberi said, "Well, we two have decided that Mihir could stay with me in my room and Bipin could stay with Archana in her room, of course, they have to sleep on the floor."

Bipin and Mihir were very happy to hear that, even the two elders Arnab and Bhaskar appreciated the judicious decision of their wives.

Mihir said, "Bipin and me, both are elated that we could get an opportunity to serve our two dear grandmothers from so nearby. We both will be busy for the whole day with cooking and other household works and only at the sleeping hour, we would come to their rooms. We don't have any problem sleeping on the floor rather we would be guarding two grandmothers in the night if ever they face any problems during the night as they are elderly ladies."

Arnab said, "Well, then everything is settled. Now, I advise all our family members to settle themselves in their respective rooms and get themselves refreshed. After one and half an hour, we all are going to be assembled here in this hall for breakfast and we will discuss certain other things."

Everyone settled in their rooms and started unpacked their baggage. Since there was only a common Toilet cum bathroom on each floor, without delay, everyone made a queue. The assigned room for Bipasha and Arpita was comfortable. Their bed was purple, and had one worn desk dead center, with a single fogged window above it; and a closet below the window. Everybody assembled in the hall after the scheduled hour for their breakfast. They were just taking their breakfast, suddenly the entire valley of the jungle was resounded with the beating of drums. The sound of drums echoed everywhere, and the family members stopped taking the breakfast for a moment and glanced towards the family heads with their surprise and anxious faces.

Bhaskar said, "Don't be surprised. The sound of drums is a welcome message to us by the tribes, secondly, it is also a message to all tribes that the guest of honor means all of us have arrived."

"Dear all, everyone is tired due to an overnight hazardous journey, even some of you might not have slept well inside the car. So, now, I advise everyone to retire in their respective rooms and take full rest. We need not assemble once again here for lunch as everyone has their lunch packets which they could take as per their convenience after taking a rest. To remember our first evening in the jungle, let us have a campfire in the evening near the porch area of the Bungalow.

Bipin and Mihir are in charge of the lit campfire and serve us dinner by 8. 00 P.M. near the campfire. I expect a big family get-together full of joy and pleasure in the evening near the campfire. Now, let us take rest," said Arnab.

It was dusk, the evening was approaching, both the friends Debashish and Dipankar woke up from the bed leaving their wives in bed who were still sleeping. Both of them put on blue-colored tracksuits and T-shirts and came outside. Both were feeling very refreshed and energetic after a long sleep of the day.

Debashish was surprised, "Dipankar, what's this! We both have identical dresses of the same color for this evening."

Dipankar replied, "Don't you remember, last time when I went to Delhi, I purchased these two identical pairs for us. It is a coincidence that today evening, we both have put on the same dress."

Debashish said, "Dipankar, let us stroll around the premises of Bungalow and inspect what these two fellas are doing for the campfire."

While strolling around the area, they could feel the sweet breeze flowing over them with the fragrance of flowers. They reached near porch area of Bungalow and saw both Bipin and Mihir were busy arranging kindling consists of small sticks and twigs, dry leaves, and forest duff with five nos of a large piece of firewood for the campfire on the ground which was full of stones and pebbles, suitable area for a campfire.

On seeing them, both Bipin and Mihir greeted in the same voice, "Good evening, Uncle Debashish and Uncle Dipankar."

"Listen Bipin and Mihir, as you know we cannot have our drinks before every one of our family. So, serve the dinner to everyone as per the scheduled time except us. Once everyone leaves the campfire area, our boozing party will start for a whole night. Do you understand both?" said Dipankar.

"Yes, Uncle. We understand," replied Mihir.

Ashmita woke up from the bed and couldn't find her husband Debashish. From the open window, she could see it was getting dark as evening was approaching. Ashmita came out of the room and knocked at the door of the next room. Madhu opened the door.

"I think both of our husbands have gone outside," enquired Ashmita.

Madhu looked at her with a meaningful smile," You know, after all, they are very close friends. After a long time, they are together, planning something big booze party for tonight."

"Like them, we are also close friends. Why should we leg behind them? Let us have a small party now for a pre-camp fire which would vibrate our mind and body," said Ashmita with a smile.

Madhu understood the meaning of her words. She picked out the Gin bottle from her suitcase. She poured into two glasses mixed with Limca. After consuming two glasses of Gin, the ladies felt slightly intoxicated and energetic.

"What dress you have in your mind for the campfire?" asked Ashmita.

"Let us put on peak long sleeve shirts with chick joggers," suggested Madhu.

"That would be good outfits for both of us in the evening, particularly for the occasion of the campfire," consented Ashmita.

"We can do another thing. Let us fill up two bottles of Limca with Gin. During campfire, we could sip the contents frequently. Nobody will know," said Ashmita.

"But we have to be careful. We have to control our mind not to be intoxicated as our fathers-in-law and mothers-in-law would be there," cautioned Madhu.

"Don't worry! It will never happen," said Madhu and left the room with a smile.

Bipasha woke up and found evening was approaching. She looked at her friend Arpita who was sleeping beside her on the bed.

Bipasha called in a high voice, "Hey, Arpita dear. Wake up, please. It is already evening."

Arpita opened her eyes with yawning, spreading her two hands like wings of a bird.

"Hey, Arpita. Shouldn't we get ready for the evening party, I mean for the campfire?" asked Bipasha.

"Ohh...yes. Let us put on our sleeveless button-down shirts with denim hotpants for the campfire," suggested Arpita.

"Yes, that's a good idea. But before that why shouldn't we be energized a little with our Gin?" proposed Bipasha with a smile.

"I think both of us have never tasted this before and it would be our first time. If something unusual happens to us in the campfire, suppose we get drunk then?" asked Arpita.

"No, we would take a little quantity now. After returning from the campfire, in the night, we will try for larger quantity," suggested Bipasha.

Arpita pulled the Gin bottle out from the bag and unscrew the cap. Bipasha helped her to arrange two glasses filled with half of Limca. Arpita poured the Gin into the glasses. Holding their breaths, the two friends gulped down the glasses at one stroke and swallowed the contents. The Gin made them slight burn while going down their throats, and the burn felt them good as it was their first drink, an adventurous step, and a thrilling experience. After some time, it felt them warming and protective.

After Bipin and Mihir set up camp and built a roaring campfire, it was time for the preparation of dinner. Both of them had woken up around 4.00 P.M and prepared everything in advance for the menu to be made from fowls and fishes. They marinated some chicken breasts in a chipotle sauce and pieces of fish to be grilled over the hot ashes of firewood, along with a variety of Tandoori chicken, chicken kebab, dry fish mashala, and fish fry. The main course of the item was chicken biriyani. Mihir had the great idea of an apple pie-ish dessert as he was the expert cook. He fashioned another, fireside aluminum roaster where he placed apple slices doused in brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter. When done, these sweet, roasted apples were candy that would fell apart in your hands, then would melt in your mouth.

It was late evening, around 6.30, P.M. Everybody reached near the campfire. The red flame was rising above 5 feet from the burning logs. All the female members were in the best of their attires. The two grandmothers, Kaberi and Archana were in short sleeve Marino wool tops with high waist loose leggings. The two moms, Ashmita and Madhu were in peak long sleeve shirts with chick joggers. The two Aunties Debika and Deboshree were with women's long sleeve safari shirts with loose women's home trousers. Everyone was sitting around the campfire All the females were looking gorgeous and beautiful. Their faces were further glowing by the red flame of the campfire.

All of a sudden, the sound of drums from the valley echoed the calm atmosphere of the evening and all the family members cheered along with the sound of drums. The family members requested the two young ladies, Debika and Deboshree to sing songs. Each of them sang songs from the latest Bollywood hits which were very melodious. Everybody applauded with clapping. In the meantime, Bipin and Mihir supplied everyone with Tandoori chicken, dry fish, and chicken kebab. During this occasion, Ashmita and Madhu would often sip their drinks from the bottles of Limca. The elders Arnab and Bhaskar had the liberty to take drinks before everybody. Both of them were sitting on chairs with a small wooden table before them. A bottle of whiskey with two full glasses along with plates of chicken kebab and dry fish were placed on the table. The two elders were sipping their whiskey slowly and happily after glancing towards their family members who were enjoying near the campfire.

Both Arpita and Bipasha were feeling a little intoxicated under the influence of Gin and they were feeling as if they were flying in the sky. They would roam around the campfire like little butterflies. Even their moms were also high under the influence of Gin. Arpita placed the Tape recorder near the campfire and played a cassette of a popular western jazz song with full volume. Both the granddaughters Bipasha and Arpita started dancing with swaying their hips and waist. The girls gyrated wildly around the fire. Soon they were followed by their moms Ashmita and Madhu, their aunts, Debika and Deboshree. The funniest thing was that the grandmothers Kaberi and Archana also couldn't resist themselves, they also joined the group and started dancing. All the female members started dancing in the tune of jazz music around the campfire. The fathers of the girls, Debashish and Dipankar clapped together to encourage their daughters, wives, sisters, and mothers. Even the elders, Arnab and Bhaskar were cheering them from their drinking session.

It was the happiest moment for the whole family which they had never witnessed in any of their earlier family gatherings. While all the females were dancing merrily around the fire, Bipin and Mihir placed a medium-sized wooden table near the campfire. Bipin and Mihi placed all the dishes on the wooden table. Everyone could smell of delicious dishes put nearby. Bipin and Mihir started to serve it. They could hear the dishes clanking together as both the boys took them over to the wooden table. Due to the intoxication of Gin, the girls had continuous dancing around the campfire for an hour. After a while realizing that both were extremely hungry, they began demolishing the delicious food like everyone else. Arpita's favorite dish, Tandoori chicken looking all reddish was the main attraction near the camp fire along with Bipasha's favorite fish mashala.

"Yum, Tandoori chicken." Arpita's dad Debashish said as he sat down near her.

"Yum, your favorite fish items," Bipasha's dad Dipankar said as he also sat down near his daughter.

There were also chicken biriyani, dry fish, kebabs, and Chinese salads. The list went on and on. As they sat down, their aunts and moms would ask them what more dishes they wanted. Near the two young girls, their moms and grandmothers were eating and savoring the taste in their mouths.

"Mommy and Papa, look. It looks like a fairyland in the jungle!" Bipasha said to her parents in a high-pitched mouse-like voice.

"Girls, are you both enjoying your food? I must appreciate, you both danced well," complimented Debashish.

The last item was favored by all, it was the dessert item of special Apple slices prepared by Mihir. Within 30 minutes, all the plates were virtually empty.

"Papa and Uncle Debashish, why don't you take your dinner?" Bipasha asked looking towards Dipankar and Debashish who were sitting on chairs near the flame.

"Girls, don't worry about us. We will have a late-night dinner," said Debashish.

Both the heads of the family, Arnab and Bhaskar had already left from the campfire after sipping some pegs of whiskey and finishing their dinner as they were the early sleeper. It was 9.00 P.M, slowly the crowd began to fade as two grandmothers left for their rooms followed by Ashmita and Madhu. Leaving their fathers alone near the campfire, both Bipasha and Arpita left for their room. The place of the campfire was deserted as everyone had left except Debashish and Dipankar. Bipin and Mihir put a small wooden table between the two friends and placed the full large bottle of whiskey, two glasses, water bottles, and dishes of chicken and fish items for their dinner. There was an 'L' shape veranda under the porch.

"Listen Bipin, you can put two mats and pillows on either side of the veranda as we both are not going to our bedrooms tonight because of our late-night party. We will sleep on the veranda, "instructed Dipankar.

"Ok, uncle," replied Bipin.

After some time, both Bipin and Mihir arranged their beds on the veranda.

"Now, we don't want anything more. You both can have your dinner and retire to your bed," said Debashish to both.

Bipin and Mihir left the place.

After dinner at the campfire, both the ladies returned to their rooms. Ashmita changed herself into a blue nightgown. Then she heard the knock at the door. Ashmita opened the door and found Madhu in a pink nightgown looking beautiful. Madhu was holding two bottles of Limca, certainly having the contents of Gin. The two friends hugged each other and both were about to sip the contents from the bottle, they heard the knock at the door. Ashmita opened the door and found Mihir standing near the door.

"Aunty, two uncles are having their party near the campfire. They will be sleeping on the veranda under the porch but they have informed you two that let the doors of the rooms be not closed from inside as they may return in the early hour of the morning," said Mihir and left the place.

It was the night of the jungle. Every one of the family was retiring in their beds. The two elders Bhaskar and Arnab were already in deep slumber. Both Bipin and Mihir were dead tired, when they entered into rooms of the elderly ladies, they found them in deep sleep. They placed the mates on the ground near the bed of two elderly ladies and within minutes both fell into a deep sleep. But the night was waiting for other family members, the young daughters, their moms, their aunties, and their fathers.

Both the friends, Ashmita and Madhu started sipping their drinks from Limca bottles.

"You see, how our husbands are enjoying?" said Ashmita in a sarcastic voice.

"Don't worry, Ashmita. We will also enjoy it in our way. I loved the way drink made me feel, and I loved its special power of deflection, its ability to shift my focus away from my own awareness of self and onto something else, something less painful than my own feelings towards my husband who has been neglecting me physically quite a long time," said Madhu with frustration.

Ashmita said, "My dear friend, it is the same with me also. We both are on the same boat. Thanks to Ramu, he fulfilled our needs after a long time. He was a real stud, a real male and far above than our husbands."

"For that, I must thank you. Because of you only, I got a chance to be fucked by Ramu," replied Madhu.

"Madhu, you look very beautiful in your pink nightgown, I wish I had this one," said Ashmita.

"But I like your blue nightgown. Let us interchange each other's gown," said Madhu.

Both the ladies exchanged each other's nightgown. They were sitting on the bed and were sipping their drinks from the bottles.

After returning from the campfire, the two girls Bipasha and Arpita immediately closed the door from inside. Bipasha exchanged a meaningful glance towards Arpita. Without delay, Arpita took out the bottle of Gin from her suitcase and she poured Gin into two glasses of half-filled limca. Both the girls gulped down the glasses at one stroke. Then continued another round of drinks which they finished quickly. After a while, both the girls felt high due to the alcoholic effect of the Gin, they were slightly drunk.

"Bips, why don't we switch off the light? There is enough moonlit coming through the window," suggested Arpita.

"You are right Arpi. The room would be more romantic and sexier. Let us lie on the bed, "said Bipasha.

There was a little flame on the campfire as it was extinguishing slowly. It was a starry night as the stars were twinkling in the sky. It was not only a starry night but also a night of moonlit as everything around them could be seen clearly. The moonlight glistened over the surrounding areas of Bungalow and the tallest of trees; it left a surreal silver blanket across all that crossed its path. Most creatures were asleep, except for the few who came alive during the night. The croaks of the frog, the chirping of the crickets, and the rare purring of the cat-filled the air with the rustling of the leaves and the sound of the wind blowing against everything in its way. The night was cool with sounds of insects coming from in and around the jungle with the howling of wolves and hyenas. The aroma of jasmine (earth smell) percolated through the air. They heard the leaves rustling against each other and the sounds of the small creatures that dwell amongst the plants. The surrounding area of Bungalow was laden with many flowers- Both Debashish and Dipankar could smell the fresh air, they inhaled deep enough, the potpourri of scents registered as a sweet mix of jasmine, grass vapor, and blossoms. Dipankar felt a cool breeze run across his face as he looked up at the sky, with the moon wrapped in clouds. There were many muted stars in the vast sky above, but there was only one lone star, bright as gold.

Dipankar said, "Dear Debashish, after a long time, tonight I am enjoying the real beauty of nature which could not be enjoyed in the city."

"You are right, Dipankar. I also feel the texture of the flowers, plants, and even the dirt, and I can taste the freshness of the night dew," replied Debashish.

"I realize that this is how life is supposed to be- no troubles, no stress, just we two friends and nature," said Dipankar.

"It's a thrilling night in the jungle," said Debashish.

Dipankar smiled and said, "My dear brother, whiskey will add more thrills to this atmosphere."

Ashmita and Madhu had almost finished their bottles. Madhu was fully drunk; her eyes were blinking. Ashmita was not drunk despite finishing the mixed Gin bottle of Limca as she was feeling frustrated about her sex life with her husband. She got more frustrated when she remembered her fucking with Ramu. Ashmita cried, her face stained with tears and mascara. She needed another drink. She glanced at Madhu who was sprawled across her bed.

"Hey Madhu, wake up. I need another drink, give me the Gin bottle," she shook up Madhu's body.

Madhu mumbled, "Ashmita, I am feeling sleepy, I am unable to move from here, I want to sleep on your bed. Go to my room, the bottle is in my suitcase which is opened. Please switch off the light."

Ashmita switched off the light of her room for a peaceful sleep of her friend Madhu on her bed as she was fully drunk. She entered the room of Madhu and found the bottle of Gin. She prepared the drinks in a glass on the bed of Madhu and started sipping. Ashmita was shaking her head with frustration. In her drunkenness, Ashmita got undressed, leaving on her panties, pulling on her nightgown, and climbed into bed. She prepared another drink, switched off the light of the room, and started sipping her drinks on the bed in darkness, knowing she was a wreck and knowing on some level that the booze made her that way, that the Gin fueled her obsession for Ramu, fueled her tears, fueled her hopelessness and inability to change. After a while, she fell asleep on the bed of Madhu.

Debashish pulled up the bottle of whiskey, slid off the cork as it eased out of the whiskey bottle. He made 2 large glasses (300--400 ml glass) and filled them with whiskey and water. The distinct glug-glug of booze pouring into the glasses, the clatter of ice cubes (They had brought icebox from Kolkata especially for this purpose) in a tumbler could be heard. After a long time, the two friends got an opportunity to drink together which was not possible in the house because of the presence of all family members, they loved the rituals, the camaraderie of drinking with others, the warming, melting feelings of ease and courage it gave them.

Debashish said, "Bro, you have no balls if you don't drink this in one shot!"

Dipankar exclaimed," Ha! See my dear friend it is nothing for me." He finished the first glass quickly.

Dipankar and Debashish started drinking out in the open. Anyone who had the experience of drinking in the open air could tell that one could get drunk very quickly, maybe because of the cold breeze. Breeze and booze were a deadly combination. They were enjoying their pegs of whiskey; they gulped half of the bottle down and then went back to finish again the rest of it. After that both became drunk.

Both the young aunties were tossing and turning in bed, although a sweet breeze was coming through the window. The room was dark but both could see each other in the moonlit flickering through the window to their room. It was their first time; they were sharing the same bed although they were close friends from their childhood. From childhood, both were brilliant and scholar in their studies and very much career-oriented. Both had the same aspirations, the same fire ignited in them to do something different from others, and they both opted for a research-oriented career. It was only studying, research, and teaching in their lives nothing else, no love affairs with anybody, nor any males in their lives. Both of them had several good marriage proposals in past with handsome and prosperous young men for them, but both had rejected them. Specifically, they had apprised their fathers, Arnab and Bhaskar that they were not going to marry in the future. And now the two remained spinsters of 34 years.

"Debika, don't you feel sleepy?" asked Deboshree.

"No, I am feeling a little bit tense about my research work. I don't know how to start it?" replied Debika.

"Me too," agreed Deboshree.

"But, didn't you enjoy the evening near the campfire?" asked Debika.

"Yes, after a long time I enjoyed with my family members, particularly with you as we both hardly see each other due to our busy assignment in research subject fields," said Deboshree.

They remained silent for a moment, then Debika asked, "Tell me my dear Deboshree, why do a male and female marry and live together? Then after some times, why do they get divorced?"

"That's the tragic part of marriage. First, they love each other for their physical needs, I mean for sex, then they aspire for kids of their own for their natural heir. Then after some time, their egos confront each other as they try to dominate each other, ultimately resulting in a divorce. If everything ends well, at their old age, their natural heirs will leave them which is the trend of present society. Then tell me why should one marry somebody and living with him or her?" said Deboshree.

Debika nodded her head with consent and said, "I agree with you. We both are matured young women and understand things clearly. What's the need for marriage and living with someone and having kids? Of course, sex is a biological need of everyone which could be fulfilled in a lot of ways, either with some male partner for a temporary period or by masturbation. Then the other factor left is kids, you can adopt any kid from anywhere if at all you need a kid."

"I don't need any kid now. I am happy the way I am. I am happy with my research work. Regarding sex, I am not an exceptional woman like Nun, whenever I feel horny, I masturbate myself. There is nothing to feel ashamed of as we are matured women," said Deboshree.

"I also do the same like you. The positive angel of masturbation is that when you reach your climax, your total tension, day's hard work, your worry everything will be wiped out from your mind within a second, your mind will be vacant and a strange soothing will come to your body, "said Deboshree.

While talking, spontaneously, the two young women moved to each other closely, their bodies touched with each other. Both their hands clasped with each other, they touched each other's hands, felt the softness, and massaged each other's hands as if they were consoling each other.

"How often do you masturbate?" asked Debika.

"Depends upon the mood, two times or three times in a week," replied Deboshree.

"But doing the same thing with your own fingers doesn't give me thrill anymore as it is a routine affair. I wish someone else fingers there which might create a new sensation and new thrill," said Debika.

Deboshree laughed and embraced her friend tightly, "Really my friend! You wish in that way."

Debika could see the brightening lusty eyes of Deboshree in moonlit. She also clasped her tightly and kissed her on the lips and said, "Yes dear, with someone like you."

Arpita moved closer to Bipasha and embraced her tightly. The effect of intoxication was closely on their bodies and mind. Arpita kissed Bipasha on her lips.

Bipasha smiled softly. "I think this night is felt to be terribly sexy." She threaded her fingers through Arpita's jet black hair and said, "Let us enjoy the night."

Her eyes gleamed lasciviously and Arpita seemed to revel in their twinkly depths. "You say all the right things," she said to Bipasha.

"If that's true, let me admit, I am feeling horny." She coaxed Arpita's head closer to hers and whispered, "Though I'd really prefer not to talk right now, rather I would believe in action."

Arpita found herself popping off the buttons of Bipasha's shirt as she pulled apart the flap and yanked the hotpants from her waist. Arpita unclasped her bra. Bipasha truly was a raging inferno of lust and longing. Bipasha kissed Arpita. An obviously scorching-hot lip-lock left Arpita breathless when she finally pulled away. Slowly, Arpita's head dipped to Bipasha's chest and she swept her tongue over a tight nipple, making Bipasha's body jolt. Arpita didn't hold back. She palmed Bipasha's breasts and pressed them together, then she licked and sucked one nipple while rolling the other between her finger and thumb. Bipasha's head rested against the mound of pillows on top of the bed and her eyelids closed again, as though she'd just willingly given herself over to whatever sensations Arpita evoked, as though she'd just freed herself of her own bonds and was accepting of the pleasure, her friend wanted to bring her.

Arpita found the silent surrender as provocative as it was significant. She trusted her. Her faith in what transpired between them helped her to rein in some of her erotic emotions. The tip of Arpita's tongue feverishly flicked the rosy bud against her lips until Bipasha was squirming beneath her and moaning softly. Then one of Arpita's small hands slid over the shimmery material covering Bipasha's stomach, moving lower until her fingers reached the bare skin exposed by the slit in Bipasha's dress. Arpita's fingers swept over the naked flesh the way, first brushing lightly over the top of Bipasha's thigh, then dipping between her slightly parted legs to caress the sensitive inner portion of her thigh. Bipasha's body trembled, a visible vibration Arpita somehow felt deep in her core. When Arpita's fingertips lightly grazed Bipasha's pussy lips through the thin material of her panties, Bipasha's eyes flew wide open, and she bolted upright.

Bipasha's long, thick curls spilled over her shoulders and her chest heaved, she moaned, "Oh my God!"

Arpita could see the fiery excitement still blazing in her eyes. The way Bipasha was staring at her as if she would eat her alive. Indeed, she detangled her fingers from Arpita's hair and fisted her hands, then opened them, stretching her fingers. A ripple of something dark and wondrous seemed to shimmy down her spine as she wiggled in bed. And then she did something completely unexpected to Arpita. Bipasha ripped open the shirt of Arpita, twined her fingers in the thin straps that sat on Arpita's shoulders, and pulled the flimsy material down her arms. Not missing a beat, Arpita yanked her limbs from the confining straps mere seconds before Bipasha pushed the rest of the hotpants down to Arpita's waist. There appeared to be no hesitancy or shame in Bipasha's next move. She did exactly as Arpita had done to her earlier, palming Arpita's small breasts, squeezing them lightly, then dropping her head to Arpita's chest to lick and suck one nipple and then the other.

"Oh," Arpita said on a lusty sigh, whatever erotic sensations Bipasha evoked clearly catching her off guard.

Her hands gripped Bipasha's shoulders, holding her to her as the other girl continued to tease and suckle her nipples.

"That feels heavenly, "Arpita's head dipped and her lips grazed Bipasha's black hair as her fingers threaded through the silky-looking strands.
